Venturi brought us in for the creative direction and set design of their tour finale.
Building on "Comida Rápida", the concept behind their album, we designed a show loaded with stimuli — a stage made to be performed, not just stood on. We built giant towers of pizza boxes for the band to knock down organically as the show went on. The towers tied into the visuals: the inside of the "Venturi: fresh & loud tunes" pizzeria, reacting live to the gig — flies buzzing past, lights flickering and blowing out, silhouettes crossing the window.
Mid-show, we sent a delivery rider into the crowd, pizzas loaded in his backpack, handing them out as he went — and yes, he ended up in the final mosh pit too.
